LINCOLN: THE ENTERTAINMENT HUB OF NEBRASKA

Covering 93 square miles with a population of 280,000 residents, it is no surprise that Lincoln is the capital of Nebraska. Lincoln has an extensive park system with over 125 individual parks in the city alone. Residents will enjoy outdoor pools, public golf courses, and bicycling/equestrian/walking trails. If your love for the outdoors extends into the realm of sports then you are in luck since Lincoln is home to Nebraska Cornhuskers football. Prefer the arts and culture? Well, in recent years, Lincoln has become a “music city” with the recent 2013 construction of the Pinnacle Bank Arena. Other popular live music venues include the Bourbon Theatre, Duffy’s Tavern, and the Zoo Bar. Catch a national tour of a Broadway production at The Lied Center for Performing Arts, screen the latest Hollywood blockbuster at one of the many Marcus Theatres sprinkled throughout the city, or take advantage of the plethora of Lincoln annual events including Band Day, the Uncle Sam Jam, and Boo in the Zoo. From Sunken Gardens and the Mueller Planetarium to the Nebraska State Capitol and The Speedway Motors Museum of American Speed, there are just so many amazing attractions to enjoy in Lincoln, Nebraska!
